Daily Maintenance and Fault Prevention of Blow Molding Machines
January 30, 2026
Daily maintenance shall follow the four principles of cleaning, fastening, lubrication and inspection. Clean the die head and air blowing system every day to prevent carbon deposition and nozzle clogging. Check the hydraulic oil/lubricating oil level, replace the filter element and fasten the heating coil wiring on a weekly basis. Calibrate the temperature sensor and pressure sensor monthly to ensure accurate parameter values. Inspect the mold clamping parallelism quarterly to avoid product eccentricity.
For common faults: if parison sagging occurs, it can be resolved by reducing the extrusion speed or improving cooling efficiency; if air pressure is unstable, check the air compressor and pipeline for leaks.
